The solar eclipse is soon upon us! Be ready for AUGUST 21st, and get your eclipse glasses, coffee, lapbook… oh yeah, and the kids!
Remember to be safe. Looking at the sun directly harm your eyes whether or not you are in the path of totality or not. Be sure to grab some eclipse glasses. Check out this article on how to get some for FREE. Many libraries, learning centers, astronomical centers, etc. are handing them out for free.
Where Are You?
Will you be in the path of totality? Check out NASA’s map here.
Whether you are doing a unit study or doing some educational preparation before viewing an actual solar eclipse, this lapbook will help aid and direct your learning.
I created this product with lapbooking and notebooking pages that you can tailor to fit your student’s style of learning. Many of the booklets that go in the lapbook have both blank and lined options. Older students can be very precise with the information they add, and younger students can draw pictures. You can have your students write full sentences, use bullets, draw diagrams, conduct their own research, trace words with a highlighter, write stories or poems instead of facts, etc. It is completely up to you! This product is designed to be able to be adapted to all levels and help you incorporate all your students into one learning experience.
Don’t forget to have a whole lot of fun!
Till Next Time,
