Happy New Year! I hope you all had fantastic holidays. I’m sure you are, like me, getting back in to the swing of things after the holiday craziness.
I’m sure you have noticed that activity on the Dear Homeschooler site the last few months has slow. Since late October, I have been taking care of some personal matters, including two cross-country trips due to the sickness and passing of my dear mother-in-law. I thank you for your patience as I took some time off to deal with these matters. I am looking forward to starting a new year.
Here We Come 2017
Here are some things to look forward to in the upcoming 2017 year:
I have some great, educational giveaways planned for this year, including great reading books, activity books, and titles from National Geographic.
I have slowly been working on creating new icons for Bookshelf, the series of subject-specific link ups. I am also planning to expand and include topics that have been suggested by readers over the last year.
I will continue reviewing curricula and materials and posting those reviews to provide information to help in your homeschooling decisions.
I will continue to post on various educational subjects, themes, and how-to’s. I will also share posts on what we are doing.
What would you like to see on Dear Homeschooler in 2017? What kind of resources or information have you not been able to find other places? I’d love to hear your input below.
Till Next Time,
